With the research of the curriculum reform, the constant development of Primary and middle schools and teachers has become the focus of attention of the researchers. School-based research (SBR) which is up-and-coming as the process of the teacher professional development also gradually becomes school a new meteorological and vitality. The researchers for school-based research studies have also more and more colorful and comprehensive. The evaluation of school-based research which is one of the important ways not only promoting the SBR but also improving the teachers' professional development has important significance and function for the development of teachers' education teaching and the improvement of the teaching level.This study choose the evaluation of the school-based research primary and secondary schools as the breakthrough point, uses literature method,survey method,case analysis method and so on,and conducts a deep analysis at both levels of theory and practice about the evaluation of school-based research. The thesis starts with the definition of school-based research and evaluation and analyzes the connotation and characteristics of school-based research evaluation. Some problems exists in the school-based research evaluation concept, evaluation standard, evaluation implementation, evaluation feedback and evaluation motivity which are based on the investigation of five primary and middle schools in Henan province and the existing literature. The reason is the impact of evaluating function orientation of utilitarianism, evaluation process organisaism phenomenon, the unclearness of the school quality evaluation indexes, the weak function of evaluation panel, and the evaluation standard of borrowed method. On this basis, this study insists on the developing evaluation and teachers'professional development theory, allowing for the characteristics of school-based research evaluation, and tries to build the theoretical system of school-based research evaluation from the aspects of evaluation subjects, evaluation principles, evaluation body and evaluation index. The operating mechanism of school-based evaluation includes three aspects: the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the summarize stage. Finally, this article selects S School as the analysis case. After a brief introduction to S school's background and practical experience of the school-based research evaluation with material evidence, the thesis analyzes the realization of S school's school-based research evaluation,all of which lead to further consideration, and a few conclusions to ensure the successful implementation of school-based research evaluation.Only with the strong support from the school leaders for development-oriented evaluation theory, the establishment the evaluation and the safeguard mechanism of school-based research, the focus on the daily teaching evaluation, together with evaluation of feedback timely, can the school-based research evaluation make sure of the promoting development function.
