A Study On Problems And Solutions About The Service Regional Economy Of Higher Vocational Education In Henan Province

As the economy rapidly progresses, our higher vocational education as one necessary part of higher education has played a crucial role in the economical development, to which increasing concern from all circles has been given. To carry out the National Long-and Mid-term Education Reform and Development Plan Outline (2010-2020) and the essence of national education conference, the Ministry of Education held the national conference of higher vocational education reform and development, which starts a new beginning and takes the higher vocational education as the priorities as well as closely connecting it with economical development.In recent years, total economy in Henan Province sours and its second and third industries grow rapidly. Because of a great proportion of the population, although the total economy is in the front of the whole country and GDP per capita is relatively low. To achieve stable and rapid economic development, the market must have a certain talent to meet the needs of the society. Therefore, it is necessary to combine with the higher vocational education in order to bring up more talents industries need. This has posed challenge to the development of higher vocational education. Higher education can train for regional economic development, large numbers of highly skilled practical talents, and to provide technical support, and regional industrial sector but also for the vocational education provide a lot of jobs for graduating students to choose. If you can achieve a reasonable match between the two is bound to interact to achieve common development.This paper firstly introduces the territory, demographic profiles, economic development and the development status in Henan Province. On this basis, through the corresponding statistical analysis of the regional industry in Henan Province and vocational education, it analyzes the docking status between the two. Secondly, it takes JZ City vocational school teachers as the research object and uses questionnaires in the form of practical research, and statistic and systemizes the survey data. By analyzing the data, it amplifies the current problems in the process of higher vocational education servicing regional economy. As the Government is inadequate in investment of vocational education and lacks of a reasonable structure and layout of vocational colleges and supervision to the development of vocational colleges so that the Government has some role deviation in the process of vocational education development. Unclear vocational colleges direction and personnel training from the regional economic development needs result in a professional setting Vocational blind perfection and lack of professional characteristics and training dual-qualified teachers. Thus, it hinders the healthy development of vocational education. The whole society for vocational education recognition is generally low. It is mainly due to inadequate publicity that led to a lack of adequate knowledge of vocational education. Vocational colleges'specialty can't keep up with regional industry development. Meanwhile, personnel training mode is also lagging behind. It can clearly be seen that higher vocational education in Henan Province still exists a lot of problems in the process of serving the regional economy. It is influenced by the traditional concept, development environment, etc. Government, market and vocational education are integral whole. If they are from any part, they could lead to disharmony with each other. Finally, I make some suggestions to address the problem. Government must play its leading role in strengthening the overall planning, establishing and improving the investment guarantee mechanism, improving the vocational education laws and regulations further, establishing supervisory systems in order to promote the rapid development of higher vocational education. Meanwhile, higher vocational education should pay attention to colleges-running orientation regionalization and personnel training practically so as to further clarify the Orientation. Ultimately, by the interaction among government, colleges and the business, it is necessary to provide a good environment for the development of vocational education, to further enhance its service ability for the regional economy and to promote higher vocational education jointly in Henan Province.
