The Research On The Status And Strategy Of University Students Online Political Participation

The network is now changing the political participation status of students in the colleges in our country at an unprecedented developed rate, which has provided a new environment, created a new mechanism and got through a new channel, in order to improve not only the breadth and depth, but also the effectiveness of university students political participation.At present the online political participation of university students is still at exploring and constructive level, which attracted the attention and thinking of many scholars who comment so much on the advantages , shortcomings and development prospects of the situation, which is said eyes of the beholder wise views. Around the topic of university students online political participation, with the help of the discussion about the conception of political participation by the scholars at home and abroad, this article determines to discuss the online political participation of contemporary China, analyze the development of it at home and abroad, reveal the characteristic and influence of it with three evaluation standards which is"Subject, Form, Process". For example, with the advantages of equality, immediacy, extensive, quickness, consciousness and low cost, online political participation makes up the shortcomings of traditional political participation, and quickly grows up being new force in the field of political participation of China.On this basis this article analyses by proof the status, characteristic, problem and reason of university students online political participation by interviewing locally and online survey. The analysis shows that contemporary university students online political participation appears the double contradiction phenomenon that enthusiasm and coldness fixes, rationality and irrational fixes, ideal and utilitarian fixes, acknowledge and behavior out of touch. There are four reasons to explain it, for example, the elite complex and value diversity of university students result in the happening of the coldness phenomenon of online political participation, the immature mental development of university students and E-Government lags result in the excesses on online political participation, the social benefit diversity and the negative effects of market economy result in the utilitarian of online political participation, the egoism tendency of university students and the pressure outside result in the phenomenon of negative participation of university students.For the status of university students online political participation, in order to conduct university students online political participation scientifically, we must take measures from three aspects like culture construction of online political participation, network monitoring measures and network institutionalized construction. For example, improving the consciousness of university students online political participation by training the political participation culture; perfecting network monitoring system and regulating university students online political participation behavior; strengthening network institutionalized construction and getting through the channel of university students online political participation. Only in this way we are able to promote the development of university students online political participation healthfully and orderly.
