With the development of our education and the deeper steps of curriculum reform of basic school,the notion of principle leadership gradually becomes the critical factor in developing of students, teachers and schools. While principle's instruction leadership is just a kind of leader notion. Preceding research achievement paid less attention to the practice of principle's instruction leadership, especially to principle's instructional leadership of undeveloped area schools. In the practice, there are many problems in principle's instructional leadership of schools in the undeveloped area. Leping city is located in the north of Jiangxi province. It's economic level lies lowly in the whole province, belonging to the undeveloped area.We put Leping city into an individual case and explore what problems of principle's instructional leadership are and what the reasons are and how to improve the situation. So this research has much value in the theory and the practice. We check the practice situation from principle's instructional leadership consciousness and theory ability and principle's instructional leadership behaviors. We find that there are some problems: the first one is that principle's instructional leadership can't play important part in the practice; the second is that conflict between principle's administration leadership and principle's instructional leadership, and the principle's role gets some mistakes; the third is lacking of the authorities'right guidance and coordination, and the systems of checking is not so perfect; the fourth is that the participant is not enough, the participant is single and the teachers lack of enthusiasm in the schools; out of the schools, the resource is not used completely. All the reasons of these problems are involved in the bureaucracy organization, principle's low theory ability and outer environment. And these reasons also affect the practice effect of principle's instructional leadership.In order to solve the problems above, we should put forward some suggestions such as: the first is to change the cognition principle's instructional leadership, and locate principle's role again and change the notion of principle's leadership; the second is to improve the strategy of principle's instructional leadership, for one hand is changing the eye of principle, and for another hand is broadening the horizon of principle; the third is to improve principle's profession quality, including improving the profession ability and levels of their diploma; the fourth is to afford the guidance to principle's instructional leadership, including taking part in principle training and invite the experts to the schools and get in touch with the universities and so on.The research of principle's instructional leadership in middle schools of L Leping city and the research conclusions all above can be used for reference when other district come across the similar education problems.
