"The10-year development plan of educational informatization(2011-2020)" recently released by The Ministry of Education has pointed out thatinformation technology has revolutionized the development of education. It must behighly valued. School informatization construction is a complex and systematicproject, involving many important factors. Informatization leadership plays a veryimportant role in the process of school informatization construction. In recent years,educational informatization leadership has become the focus of research in the field ofeducational informatization. Researchers generally believe that the principal’sinformation capacity, information awareness and attitudes play a decisive role in theschool informatization construction. But they ignore the school informatizationleadership is a multi-level, multi-dimensional system.Currently, there is no relevant research about school informatization leadershipin the field of basic education in our country. Based on this, this research is dividedinto four parts. Firstly, this part mainly introduces concept and composition of middleschool informatization leadership, and summarizes theoretical basis from studies ofschool informatization leadership. Secondly, It is to explore what problems aboutcurrently existing through the case study and investigates principal and teachers of XuZhou S Middle School by the use of questionnaires and interviews including theinformatization leadership of principal, management and teachers. Thirdly, based onthe analysis of survey data, the existing problems are listed, and the reasons behindthe problems are analyzed. Finally, starting from the three aspects of informatizationleadership of principals, management and teacher, this thesis constructs the middleschool informatization leadership model, raising the corresponding countermeasuresfor the problems, and promoting the comprehensive upgrade of middle schoolinformatization leadership. Although this research is a case study, problems andreasons are still representative. Therefore, the thesis is meaningful for our country inthe process of educational informatization leadership of theoretical research and practical exploration.
