"Values are common in various aspects of our life. Everyone has his own principle, that is to say, people hold different values to guide their directions. It is values that lay down the significance of life, thus creating a meaningful life." Senior high school students'life values are the focus of ideological standards and political awareness, which plays a critical role in the development of students'comprehensive quality.However, the formation of students'values is a complicated, systemic and repeating process, concerning students'development of physiology, psychology and thinking, which is rooted in both internal and external causes. Senior high school stage is a critical period when students'values are developed. Besides, the development of students'values is a significant issue that we are faced with during the process of educational reform.This thesis focuses on the theoretical principle of the students'values (Marxism, the doctrine of people's innate character, the value system of socialism) and the potential problems (values tend to emphasize individual interest and is realistic, utilitarian and immature). Based on practical experience of teaching, solutions to solving the problems are put forward in terms of schools, families, society and students themselves so as to promote the quality of students'life and help students to develop in a healthy way at the same time.
