Experimental Research On "Competition Method" Of Basketball Teaching Of Girls In Vocational Colleges

Basketball has always been loved by the majority of the students, but also one of the main physical courses in the vocational college. However, traditional teaching methods focus on the master of skills and practice in the class for a long time. It cannot meet the need of students'. So this paper attempts to reform teaching methods and introduce the "competition method" to improve the students'interest in sports and health of students and develop sports habits.In this paper, studying the female sophomore basketball selected course in Huzhou Vocational & Technology College, selecting two classes (control class and experimental class both 42) randomly, taking the "competition method" teaching-oriented experimental study, choosing the Level of Interest in College Physical Education Scale written by Zhang Huihong in Nanjing Institute of Physical Education. From the four dimensions ("the degree of physical love," "degree of aversion to physical education," "extra-curricular physical education degree autonomy", "extra-curricular interest and participation in physical activity level") to investigate and analysis these two classes to verify the experimental hypothesis, come to the conclusion:Control class has no significant difference before and after the experiment in the learning interest of sports by the four dimensions, but the experimental class vice verse, two classes have no significant differences in physical fitness and "degree of aversion to physical education, independent study degree of extra-curricular, extra-curricular sports and exercise too concerned about the extent of the", and has significant difference in technology and basic tactics.So, we should increase the status of the "competition method" in girls'basketball course in vocational college, concerning about the development of skill and ability and enhancing the capability in basketball game, improving the interest. Secondly, enhancing the cooperation of students to improve the ability of adapting to environment, experiencing the successful learning and confidence. Thirdly, improving the convergence within and outside of basketball class and of participate in the sports activities atomically and sports habits. Fourthly, improving the professional capacity of physical education teachers and study the teaching method deeply in order to grasp the advanced concepts to guide the teaching practice with the times.
