In 2002,the national general college physical education curriculum teaching guidelines issued and implemented clearly defined the basic objectives of college physical education,which requires college students not only to develop skills but also to pay attention to psychological development,so as to promote the all-round development of College Students' body and mind.However,most of the female college students can't achieve their goals well,which is not in line with the development of the times and social requirements.Basketball teaching method mode is rigid,teaching means is relatively single,can not mobilize the enthusiasm of students to learn basketball,students are in a passive learning state for a long time,and gradually lose enthusiasm for basketball,affecting the quality and effect of basketball teaching.Female college students have entered the university stage.With the growth of age,their body shape and metabolism function have been improved and adapted to the changes of external environment.As the psychological characteristics of female college students are more unstable and immature,their internality,sensitivity and self-esteem are higher.They show emotional introversion,laziness and poor endurance to fatigue in physical education.Situational teaching is a combination of speech and action,which transforms the form of abstract language into visual language.It is intuitive,scientific and interesting.Situational teaching can arouse students' passion for learning,cultivate students' interest in learning,and improve the effect of college girls' basketball physical education through the implementation of situational teaching method.With the help of literature,questionnaire,teaching comparative experiment,mathematical statistics and other research methods,this paper makes an investigation on the problems related to the introduction of situational teaching method into the basketball course for college girls.This paper selects 60 female students from Zhongbei College of Nanjing Normal University as the research objects,and conducts an 18 week experimental study to explore the application effect and promotion value of situational teaching method in college female basketball class.Through the experiment,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Compared with the traditional teaching method,situational teaching method has no obvious advantage in improving the physical quality of female college students,and the effect is similar.(2)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the situational teaching method plays a more significant role in improving the basketball skills of female college students.(3)Compared with the traditional teaching method,situational teaching method is more conducive to the increase of female college students' interest in sports learning and the improvement of their ability of autonomous learning.(4)The application of situational teaching method in female college students' basketball course is affected by many factors.Girls' interest in learning basketball course is not high,and the consciousness of active learning is lagging behind,which is the main factor affecting the effect of Basketball Classroom Teaching;teachers' outdated teaching concept,the consciousness and ability of flexibly designing teaching situation are the key factors restricting the smooth implementation of situation teaching;the lack of equipment and facilities also has a greater restrictive effect on the implementation of situation teaching.
