There are 48 private universities, who are the leader in private colleges, facing the following new challenges:how to meet the requirements of the undergraduate education and pass assessment, how to compete with powerful public higher education in the undergraduate market, research level decides private colleges whether achieve sustainable development or not.Through the existing literature research, learn about the scientific evaluation of the latest research results, also found in the area of current research evaluation for private universities have not carried out a systematic study. Based on the reflection of the status of private university research work into the " scientific research inputs" and "scientific research outputs," "scientific research platform," and "scientific research management system" four in 10 specific indicators with network survey method, literature research, phone interview survey, found that the status of private universities is:Government support for small, weak scientific infrastructure, lack of results-based Exchange platform, the overall investment is insufficient; focus on strengthening its own internal construction, overall research outputs more inputs, optimism, good prospects for development. In response to this situation, the reference to public institutions of scientific research work experience, building suitable for private colleges of scientific and rational scientific evaluation system, the use of their guidance role, identification function, incentive for private colleges and the promotion of scientific research. In the system build process, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative "experts review analytic hierarchy process (AHP)", the index selection and the weight of aspects of the work of private universities and scientific research to determine the location and characteristics.
