The Research On Teaching Quality Monitoring Mechanism And Technical Support Of Independent College

Teaching quality is the lifeline and the key to improve the competitiveness of independent colleges, so to improve teaching quality comprehensively concerns with the survival and development of independent colleges. Nowadays, the competition among colleges is so intense that, how to set up a complete set of teaching quality monitoring mechanism, has become the common problems faced by independent colleges.This paper attempts under the guidance of the Scientific Concept of Development, in accordance with Document No.1 2005 of the Ministry of Education and the spirit of "the long-term plan for education reform and development" of our country, conscientiously implementing the new "eight character principle", using the total quality management theory, sought to establish a practical and operable independent college teaching quality monitoring mechanism with clear goal and scientific method. That aims at a full range of quality control activities in teaching, and to strive for survival and development by the quality, so as to realize a harmonious development of independent colleges in scale, quality, structure, and benefits.This paper adopts literature analysis, theoretical analysis and case analysis methods, mainly studies four aspects, and made some achievements.First, analysis of the quality and monitoring of independent college teaching. Through the explanation and analysis of the quality, teaching quality, and the meaning of teaching quality monitoring, this paper summarized the three major characteristics of the independent college teaching, and found the various factors affecting independent college teaching quality.Second, the constructing approaches to independent college quality monitoring mechanism. Explicitly, this paper takes the concept of total quality management as a guide theory, and the independent college campus network as the basic concept of technology platform. What's more, through the main objective, basic principles, and major strategies of the constructing of independent college teaching quality monitoring mechanism, this paper makes a feasibility analysis of the using of total quality management in monitoring mechanisms construction and technique support.Third, the constructing method of independent college teaching quality monitoring mechanism. This paper suggests constructing teaching quality monitoring mechanism through four aspects respectively, those are teaching and administrative control system, teaching supervision control system, teaching evaluation and monitoring system, and teaching information monitoring system. And the teaching quality monitoring mechanism runs through the competition mechanism, incentive and restraint mechanisms.Fourth, independent college teaching monitoring mechanism cases. This paper takes Lishan College attached to Shandong Normal University as a research case, to test the effectiveness of the monitoring mechanism in actual teaching management.This paper made an in-depth analysis of all the factors affecting independent college teaching quality, and made a multi-dimensional analysis and summary of the various actual factors in the development of independent colleges. Furthermore, this paper touched the common problems independent colleges faced in their development, and in particular grasped the special nature of the independent college as a starting point for research. In all, with accurate positioning and crucial touching, this paper has certain innovations in concepts, mechanism, practice, and so on.On the basis of the current study, it's an important research direction to building up a long-term teaching quality monitoring mechanism that adapted to the characteristics of independent college talent cultivation quality.
