On The Construction Of Teaching Quality Assurance System For China's Independent Colleges

Since the notice Some of the Suggestion for how to Standardize and Strength the Management of Independent Colleges Tried to Build up by State-run Universities Using New Mechanism and Models printed by China's educational department in April 2003,and raised the principle"support greatly and manage normally",the China's independent colleges have stepped into a new stage from the original developing period. How to improve the teaching quality and guarantee the students'educated quality is the necessary problem for independent colleges to face and solve, so it is a urgent task to research on the teaching quality assurance system according to the independent colleges'need. Researching on the teaching quality firstly, this thesis tries to build up a teaching quality assurance system for independent colleges, containing the following basic contents:First, the probing the constructing practices on China's higher educational teaching quality assurance. Under the background of government-leading oriented model, state-run universities raise their help themselves senses to research and construct their own teaching quality assurance system. Their experiences make a great meaning for constructing our own system. In this part, reviewing the two developing phases of china's educational teaching assurance system, this thesis introduces the state-run universities basic experiences and fruits in constructing the teaching assurance system to get the point of constructing the independent colleges their own teaching quality assurance system.Second, analyzing the run-situations and teaching qualities of independent colleges. After a brief analyze on the independent colleges'run-situations, this thesis analyses the seven important factors of teaching quality and points out their now existing problems, which provides a basis for constructing the teaching quality system for independent colleges, and then makes sure the importance and difficulties for assurance contents.
