With the global issues of population, resources, environmental have become increasingly prominent; people gradually realize the geography's advantages to solve these problems, countries pay more and more attentions on geography education. As the new round of curriculum reform move forward, teacher's original professional structure is challenged by the new teacher-student relationship, the new teaching content and the new teaching methods which the curriculum reform emphasized. Secondary school geography teachers were confronted with great professional and psychological pressures. We should fully understand and actively explore effective mitigation measures. Education faith is an important part of the teacher's quality structure, and teaching-efficacy sense is the core part of the education faith, it not only affects how positive, try hard and insist the teacher are when they meet troubles, but also affects students'learning interest and attitude, thus affects the students'academic level.From the perspective of teaching-efficacy sense to research geography teachers'teaching mentality, let the teaching efficacy theory into the field of geography education, expanding the study area of teaching-efficacy sense, the article has a certain theoretical significance; On the other hand, pay attention on teachers'teaching-efficacy sense can maintain the stability of teachers'career, improve the professional quality of geography teachers targeted, and ensure the new round curriculum reform be put into practice, the article has a certain practical significance.The paper has five parts:Part I: Introduces the background, significance, and methods of the research of geography teachers'teaching-efficacy sense.Part II: Description the theoretical basis, definition, structure, formation and mechanism of the teaching-efficacy sense; review the research of teaching-efficacy sense; evaluate the possible problems in current research.Part III: This study investigates secondary school geography teachers in Henan Province with the questionnaire that adapted by myself, regain 320 questionnaires from 350 teachers. Test the validity of data with SPSS16.0. Describe the total feature of Henan geography teachers'teaching-efficacy sense. Analysis the geography teachers'teaching-efficacy sense from different aspects such as areas, grade, gender, age, seniority, education, job title, post and etc. Summarize the different factors that affect geography teachers'teaching-efficacy sense.Part IV: Based on the analysis of survey and interviews with geography teachers, this part mainly discusses the strategy of how to improve geography teachers'teaching-efficacy sense. Geography teachers can promote themselves'teaching-efficacy sense by fellow help, narrative research, teaching reflection, and reasonably attribution and etc. In addition, the teacher evaluation and training system reform is also closely affecting the improvement of teaching efficacy.Part V: Summarizes the main conclusions, innovation and the shortage of this paper.
