Middle school's teachers'sense of efficacy is closely related to their working zeal and teaching effects, which not only influences distinctly the selection and stability of the teaching activities, but also influences the teachers'attitude to the teaching difficulty, therefore, the research about the teachers'sense of efficacy, especially the research of its affecting, are very important. Previous studies were only interested in a few demographic variables, such as the sex, the academic degress of teachers, and the conclusions were not consistent.By using questionnaire method, on the one hand, the present study wanted to investigate the difference of teachers'sense of efficacy on the location, the type and the grade of school, head teacher, the sex, academic degree and professional title of teacher. On the other hand, the present study aimed to research the relations among teachers'sense of efficacy, teachers'personality and teaching style.The results showed that:(1) The different demographic variables influenced different teahing styles. Executive teaching style was influenced by sex, the location and grade of school; conservative teaching style was effected by the type of school and the ses of teachers; academic degree and professional title effected the partial teaching style; legal and critical teaching styles were only effected by proffessional title.(2) The different demographic variables effected different personalities. Extrovision was effected by head teacher; psychoticism was influenced by the grade of school; neuroticism was effected by the grade, sex and academic degres.(3) There were significant difference of teachers'sense of efficacy on head teacher, school age and professional title.(4) Teaching style and school age could predict teachers'sense of efficacy, and the effect of personality on teachers'sense of efficacy was mediated through teaching style.
