Therefore, the growth and development, quality improvement of the badminton referee teams have become the important indispensable factor of this sport. To raise a group of high quality and pro-fessional skilled badminton referees that can be entered into the IBF is particularly important.Badminton referees are an important part of the badminton competition. The quality of referees work not only bears the smoothly moving of the competition, but also influences the competition level rise of the badminton sport. A high level referee can accelerate the competition to a high level, at the same time; a high level competition also requires high level referees. Along with the improvement of badminton sport in China, we have gained a keep rising achievements in the world competitive stage, particularly in recent years, leading the badminton world. The new rules stipulated in 2006 have increased the fierce competition in this sport, and meanwhile, As an integrated part of China badminton referees group, Henan badminton referees team must adapt to such changes and development, which have put forward newer, higher and stricter requirements to the Henan badminton referees from the view of both geographic advantages and sports advantages. Strengthening the building of Henan badminton referees team, and enhancing the whole badminton referees quality, especially the backup national referees and referees of category I, are important and necessary. In order to popularize and develop the badminton referee work to a more deep level, this article, through the concrete investigation, interview, statistics and analysis of badminton referees status of Henan province, finds out the problems and drawbacks existed in the team, further specifies the learning goal, improves the training and talents choosing methods and optimizes the management systems, trying to provide beneficial reference for the building of Henan badminton referees team.Through the research on all kinds of articles and documents on referees, it finds out that only a few of them are about the subject of badminton referee, even these connected articles are only the research on the badminton referee method and some psychological problem. While, very little research is about the comprehensive badminton referee building, not to mention that on Henan badminton referees team. Therefore, only through a deep, comprehensive and systematical research on the status of Henan badminton referee team, can we discover the problems hided in the team building objectively and propose reasonable suggestions.This article uses such methods like documents and materials, research, statistics and logic analysis, takes the national referees and referees of category I in the Henan badminton referee team as the object of study. The result shows that there is only one national referee in Henan badminton referee team; the referees of category I in the team have the characteristic of irrational age composition, a large difference in sexual structure, great regional disparity and unbalance backbone strength. The badminton referees in Henan have a feature of lower education background, single structure and scarce in high educated talents, lower English and weak computer level in general. Although the referees have a good attitude towards work, while with varying levels of cognitive ability. The overall quality of the team in Henan is not high and has regional disparity. The team management is confused and the direct leader has different opinions towards this problem. The self-training in Henan referees is high while the science and research level is low and the time of collective training is very few; the backup strength of the referee team is weak and lacks of learning and training connected with referee. The study combines the status of Henan badminton referees real situation and takes advantages of some successful experience of domestic and foreign counterparts, proposes correspondence suggestions to current problems. Break up the provincial and municipal restriction, raise a group of high level referee backbone strength in the shortage region, and enrich the Henan badminton referee team. It is suggested that Ping pang, Tennis and Badminton Center of Henan Sports Bureau to establish the management rules and acts of badminton referees as soon as possible, to attach importance to the combine management of provincial and municipal badminton association and coordinated management in cities, timely and appropriately raising relative talents. In the respect of referee management, the key job is to do the work in a new form of digital management, based on the personal data and digital archives of the referee, supervise the referees from every respect, providing theoretical basis for the referees declaration, appointment, promotion and evaluation. Henan Sports Bureau should establish the website for Henan badminton referees, offering the referees a web flat for the convenience of information delivery, communication and learning. It should set up a thorough cultivating and training program, update the training content, enrich the training form and method, and pay attention to raise referees in colleges and universities. Through external environment to mobilize the referees'initiative, perfect competition mechanism, enhance self-training consciousness and at the same time, strengthen the communication between management department and the outside, such as increase the opportunity of out learning and exercise for referees.
