With the deepening of China's reform and opening up and the constant development and improvement of socialist market-oriented economy, China's economy has been moving to the new road of industrialization, and it is moving into a new cycle of rapid growth. China's industrial structure and labor force structure are changing and has formed the situation of demand for skilled personnel. Vocational education undertakes the important task of training skilled personnel for our nation's services and economic development. At present, China's secondary vocational education is facing the unique opportunities for development, the State Council and all levels of government convenes meetings of vocational education and attaches great importance to vocational education. They have issued a series of policies and measures to enhance the strategic position of vocational education. Secondary vocational education has broad development prospects. However, the various problems that the secondary vocational education is facing can not be ignored, for example, because the recent enrollment expansion, secondary vocational school encounters the prevalent decline in the quality of students. The situation and features of secondary vocational school students are different from those of high school students: learning objectives are not clear, there is blindness of learning, the basic level of knowledge is weak, the lack of interest in learning, the lack of confidence in learning, poor consciousness and poor ability of self-regulated learning. But the secondary vocational school students also have these characteristics: active and lively, active thought, nimble operation, the interest in new things. Secondary vocational education must make efforts from the perspective of students and make students centered. Secondary vocational education must also treat students with the view of multiple intelligence theory and develop the advantages of intellectual fields of their students, so students'weaknesses can be strengthened and their strengths can be stronger. It will be the right point and breach of reform of curriculum and teaching in vocational education. It also will be the key point to improve the teaching quality of vocational education and to achieve goals of personnel training.This thesis analyzes the current situation of research on characteristics of student's study in secondary vocational school in both domestic and international research area and points out the shortcomings, and points out that the research status of the deficiencies, and based on this, puts forward the subject of research contents, method and significance of research. This research choose some secondary vocational schools in Hefei to finish some questionnaires and interviews of survey of student's learning characteristics, autonomous learning status, family educational status and so on. Then get the findings of the questionnaires in statistical way, and analyzed the results to identify problems and causes of the problems. At last,the thesis points out some countermeasures based on educational psychology, psychology of learning theory and vocational education theory that can help us to solve the problems existing in students'learning in secondary vocational school. And suggests that vocational education should take the personality characteristics and learning characteristics of students into account, the characteristics of students for the "proper education "point of view and countermeasures, which highlighted the intelligence field advantage for the students to play professional settings optimized and curriculum level teaching, individualized measures, to ensure the conduct of teaching practice to improve school conditions as well as awareness and autonomous learning ability and teaching method reform of the education measures.
