With the coming of knowledge economy, development of high-tech, transition of economic system and change of industrial structure, the society not only needs large number of top creative talents but also applied and skilled workers who work in the front line of production, service, and management. The secondary vocational schools sustain great responsibility of training hundreds of millions of practical high-quality workforce engaging in the first-line post. The expansion plan of university enrollment year after year in recent years leads to explosive development of senior high school, while the secondary vocational schools have been seriously affected. To ensure the school size, the secondary vocational schools lower the threshold to implement the no-out system, resulting in the low overall level of the students with serious and widespread study-weariness. The secondary vocational school graduates are not qualified to the position because of their lack of cultural knowledge foundation and insufficient practical skills. This current situation made it hard to ensure our socialist modernization developing continuously, steadily and healthily. So it's of vital importance to do this investigation and analyze the study-weariness about secondary vocational students.This thesis combines the research development home and abroad about the school- weariness of the secondary vocational school students with the dynamics and trends about the vocational education model in developed country by means of a questionnaire survey conducting in Hubei province. By this investigation, the paper aims to know their learning characteristics and school-weary behaviors and analyze the influencing factors from four aspects of the student, family, school and society; And finally discuss the countermeasures of these problems so that we could arouse their learning interests to better finish their study in vocational stage and direct to them better serve the society and the modernization.The reasons why the secondary vocational school students hate to study contain the internal and external factors. External factors mainly refer to the family, school and society; but the basic reasons for study-weariness lies in their poor foundation, their lack of self-confidence and motivation. It's a comprehensive and systematic project for solving the school-weary problems which needs students themselves, the families, the school and the society to make joint efforts and ensure long-term cooperation.This thesis mainly focuses on discussing the reasons why the secondary school students'weariness to study, exploring countermeasures for the school-weariness, offering reasonable suggestions about curriculum reform in the secondary vocational school and measures about the cooperation between the schools and the enterprises. The thesis aims to improve the educational quality and train hundreds of millions of practical skillful workers for construction of socialism modernization. At last it's a conclusion about the main points, the limitations of the research and problems to be improved.
