| Objective:This study investigates the career planning (CP) status of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental junior colleges in Changchun, using the comparative method to discussing whether they have differences in career planning and the reasons, analyzing the factors influenced the career planning, the inferiority and the superiority of governmental and non-governmental college in career planning education and pose some reference suggestion, strengthen it's force and depth, feasibly raise the nursing student's ability on career planning, and ensure them to find a job successfully and have a good career development.Methods:The research objects are college students come from two nursing institutions of full-time education. One was governmental college and the other is a non-governmental college. Using the method of stratified random sampling to choose the samples.750 questionnaires were distributed,737 copies are the valid questionnaires, and effective rate is 98.26%.This study choose the questionnaire survey, the questionnaire consisted of three parts.there are general survey and《Career Planning Inventory》compile by Fashang Zhang and other nursing scholars.the inventory consisted of six dimensions. The third part is the related knowledge Inventory of career planning. Set up database by Epidata and analyzed the data by SPSS13.0. Results:1. The career planning average of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental colleges of Changchun are 2.90,2.88, and among six dimensions, three dimensions'mean are lower than the average.2. Career planning of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental colleges of Changchun have no significantly difference, but there is difference in communicational dimension(P<0.05), the former's scholar is less than the latter's. Besides, the scores of the questions in six dimensions exists difference between the nursing students in different college.3. Comparing the career planning of governmental college nursing students in different grades (P<0.01):Comparing the career planning of non-governmental college nursing students in different grades (P<0.01):Comparing the career planning of same grade nursing students in different colleges:there is no difference in grade 1; there are difference in grade 2 and 3(both were P<0.01).4. Comparing nursing students' various factors on the career planning, father's and mother's education level, whether participation in social practice initiative, the career values, selection mode of nursing, major satisfaction, whether to be a nurse after graduation (all were P<0.05).Choose linear regression analysis to compare the relevance of the factors on career planning of nursing students, the results shows:major's satisfaction,whether participation in social practice,father's education level,selection mode of nursing were the important facts influenced the career planning of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental colleges.6. There are 84.3% nursing students in governmental college and 84.0% in non-governmental college think that the career planning is very important to the college student's employment.64.3% nursing students in governmental college and 58.8% in non-governmental college said that they know what career planning is.85.4% nursing students in governmental college and 87.70% in non-governmental college think that the education of career planning is necessary. There are 88.2% nursing students in governmental college and 91.3% in non-governmental college want the professional guidance on career planning. There are no differences between governmental and non-governmental college in these parts.There are only 58.4% nursing students in governmental college and 48.8% in non-governmental college have studied the knowledge related career planning. Only 57.9% nursing students in governmental college and 49.9% in non-governmental college are familiar with the content and procedure of the career planning, nursing students in governmental college done better than students in non-governmental college (both were P<0.05). Only 74.4% nursing students in governmental college and 53.5% in non-governmental college feels satisfied to their school's career planning education.,There is significantly difference between the two college (P<0.05).the nursing students in non-governmental college have the more intense feeling than nursing students in governmental college.Conclusion:1. The career planning level of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental colleges in Changchun is not extensive, need to improve further more.2. Career planning of nursing students in governmental and non-governmental colleges in Changchun have no significantly difference, but there are difference in communicational dimension.the former done better than the latter.3. College students of governmental and non-governmental college at different grade have difference in career planning. College students at same grade while in different college have difference in career planning.4. The most important facts that influenced the CP of nursing students in governmental college of Changchun are major's satisfaction, whether participation in social practice, father's education level. While with non-governmental college are whether participation in social practice, major's satisfaction, and selection mode of nursing.5. The career planning consciousness of the nursing students have been enhanced, they thought it's necessary to launch the education of career planning. The understanding of the career planning should be strengthened, college students in governmental done better than non-governmental college in this problem. The satisfaction to the education of career planning existed is not very high, especially in the unstated-run college.6. Improving the degree of satisfaction, encouraging students to participate in more social practices, building more consummate career planning education system, uniting and bring family's,college's and society's education into full play were the effect ways to raise the nursing student's ability on career planning.
