The basic concept of curriculum, as referred in the book The Regular Chinese Curriculum Standards of High School (experimental version), focuses on endowing students with language skills,taste and inquiring abilities, and promoting balanced individual development in students. As a typical humanistic subject, Chinese Language has one important educational function of aesthetic appreciation. And the contemporary poetry in high school Chinese textbooks is the best resource for aesthetic education because of its beauty in literal, rhythm and connotation. However, it does not play its role in aesthetic education, for that both teachers and students pay little attention to it in such an"education for exam"environment. Now the New Curriculum Standards points out that"high school Chinese Course should focus on the students'emotions development, and immerse them in aesthetic perception". This paper argues that the new text by mining resources, explore appropriate aesthetic education teaching methods and able to train students' aesthetic ability, namely the aesthetic perception, aesthetic appreciation and aesthetic creation ability, let the students establish aesthetic consciousness, obtain the ability of aesthetic personality structure formation. This article three part: first part of new development and aesthetic straightening out education and related concepts; The second part of aesthetic education of poetry to analyze the current situation and pointed out the existing problems; The third part around high school Chinese new poetry teaching focus the aesthetic ability training strategies discussed. This article aims to provide education for Chinese aesthetic theory instruction, more teachers of Chinese new poetry teaching provide high aesthetic ability training to provide feasible strategy reference.
