In China, teachers have innate right to criticize students from the ancient times. It was so normal for teachers to criticize students in the physical punishment way in these dynasties which private schools were popular. But nowadays, with the enhancement of parents and their children's protection awareness, more and more teachers are accused because of their bad words to students. Partial teachers begin to dare not to criticize students, even give up their right to criticize. On the day of 12th of August,2009, ministry of education printed and distributed a file named Work Rules of Class Teacher in Primary and Secondary School, it's the first time that giving criticize right to teachers to students in the legislation way. Meanwhile, there are something wrong with teachers'criticism which hurt some students'physical and mental health. These problems must be dealed with. Therefore, it is so necessary to study middle school.Teachers'spoken language is an important part of their languages. Teachers' critical spoken language means that teachers criticize students'wrong action and words in the oral way, in order to remind students to correct. Began with three real stories about criticism, this thesis explores deeply the present situation of teachers'critical spoken language from the perspective and approach of phenomenology.The description of the present situation of teachers'critical spoken language is the first part of this thesis. There are three different occasions of criticism. They are routine class, activity curriculum and outside class time. In routine class, there may happen criticism triggered with teachers'protection of class discipline or quarrel about class content between teacher and students. In activity curriculum, possibly, there are three different criticisms. They are respectively happen in morning conference, physical exercise and culture activity.The second part of this thesis mainly exhibit the problems and causes of bad critical spoken language of teachers'. Undoubtedly, the problem of bad words lies in its harm to students'body and mind. There are three causes. Firstly, teachers cannot understand their vocation correctly. Secondly, teachers do not have appropriate ways to criticize students'wrongs, they often laugh at students, love criticizing students' quality instead of what they do, and punish students other than touch their hearts. Lastly, when quarrel happened between teachers and students, the parents cannot mediate equally.At last, on the basis of understanding respecting students'personality and dignity, there are four measures to resolve teachers'bad critical spoken language for them. First, teachers must overcome egalitarianism in the way of enhancing moral mastery and using developmental estimate to evaluate students. Secondly, teachers must enhance learning of civil criticism in the way of model learning, professional train and repeating somebody's words. Thirdly, teachers must improve their methods and ways of criticizing students. They should respect students, criticize students'wrong practice other than quality, touch students'hearts, and inspire and induce students. Lastly, teachers should have a good communication with parents in order to enhance effect of criticizing. They should treat carefully the conference with parents, avoid suggesting parent what to do as far as possible, encourage parents to express their wants and doubts, and adopt soft language instead of sharp language to describe students'faults to their parents.
