Research On Ideological And Political Education Of Volunteer Service

College students are in the period with changing international situation and domestic social change。The ideal and belief Value orientation, moral consciousness of college student has received great impact, and it's brought huge challenge to Ideological and Political Education of College Students. As an innovative form and an effective channel for ideological and political education of volunteer service in the new period, it gets more and more attention of colleges and universities. This paper has studied ideological and political education of volunteer service by the way of literature research, investigations, case study and comparative study.This article consists of four main parts. In the first section I describe the background and ideas,give an overview of the development of volunteer service in China and the significance it brings to ideological and political education. The second part focuses on the concept of college students volunteer service. The characteristics of college students volunteering and the basic types of voluntary service are detailed. Meanwhile, the value of topic is described from both theoretical and practical aspects. In the third part, I made an in-depth analysis on ideological and political education of volunteer service from aspects of oriented function, cohesion function, excitation function and regulatory function. In the four part, I puts forward measures to achieve the function of ideological and political education, which the first is that colleges and universities should take great attention to the development of college students volunteering. The second is that we need grasp the principle requirements of the achievement of ideological and political education of volunteer service, and the third is to combine it with other educational carrier to promote the implementation of ideological and political education of volunteer service. The final one is to promote the work of volunteer service by project, brand and base, making it develop healthily. I hope I can provide some theoretical support for the development of voluntary service and expand the perspective of ideological and political education, providing some effective methods for ideological and political education of volunteer service in reality through this research.
