The coming of knowledge economy and information era, combined with the deepening development of the worldwide new technological revolution, challenges the quality of traditional employees, the "technical content" of vocational education has also increased. To solve the employment problem, improving the quality of workers, increasing the cornerstone of national competitiveness, many countries have supported the development of vocational education as a construction industry. How to draw on the advanced experience of vocational education reform work for is a problem worthy of further exploration.In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, vigorous development of vocational education has become the strategic choice of China's educational development, as the rapid development of China's economic, and the accelerating upgrading and transfer of industry. Vocational education and training of young people is about the country's future development. The reform of secondary vocational education has become the topic of community discussion. In this context, the importance of research the reform of secondary vocational education in developed countries has standed out. British Vocational Reform of 14-19 youth is an important part of the word vocational education. It is significant to learn and study the development of vocational education in secondary vocational education.The reform of vocational education of British's young people aged 14-19 is the study in this article. The introduction describes the origins of the research topic, research methods, and research status. Text is divided into five parts:the first part is the background of the reform of vocational education of the young people aged 14-19 in British. The second part is the reform process of young people aged 14-19 in the UK vocational education, described the reform of vocational education in 80 years after the 20th century and 21st century British youth aged 14-19. The third part is the content of vocational education reform of British's young people aged 14-19, including:the establishment of a unified vocational qualification certificate system of the young people aged 14-19, a modern apprenticeship system reform, strengthening the cooperation of the core capacity-building and partnerships. The fourth part is the characteristics of vocational education reform of British's young people aged 14-19, including:more options, higher qualification level, more emphasis on basic, more flexible and more concerned about educational equity and so on. The final part is the inspiration of the British's young people aged 14-19 vocational education reform. I put forward four places worthy of reference:to pass legislation to strengthen the safeguards system of secondary vocational education, to establish scientific and standardized system of vocational qualifications, to strength the training of core competencies and to carry out school-enterprise cooperation.
