Individualized reading instruction is the teaching of reading, on the basis of Teachers, students, and the text equality, according to students'existing knowledge and experience and individual differences, teacher guides them to research on the meaning of the text independently, so that the individuation of teachers and students are advanced. The core is respect for each student's dominant position in the teaching of reading, respecting for the students'original, unique experiences and insights during reading.clear that:" Reading is the individual behavior of students;we shouldn't instead students'reading practice of teachers'anysis.We should make use of individualized reading instruction to deepen understanding and experience, acquired some perception and thinking, influenced by the emotional, received ideological inspiration and enjoyed the aesthetic pleasure in proactive thinking and emotional activity. Cherishing student's unique experience,experience and understanding." Individualized reading instruction is presented in this website; the initiative is conducive to achieving a goal of reading instruction new teaching ideas.The examination is based on the literature method, understanding the current status of individual reading teaching in higher grades of primary school, founding problems and putting forward recommendations, providing the basis for individual reading teaching in higher grades of primary school in future.At present, High Grade Primary School has begun implementation of individualized reading instruction, but has little effect. Founding through research problems of individual reading teaching in higher grades of primary school are that:First, overemphasizing on the autonomy of reading, ignoring the teacher's leading; Second, the interpretation of the text so multiple unbounded that Individual reading deviation from the text; Third, the one-sided pursuiting of forms of individual reading instruction, resulting disarray in teaching content; Fourth, the one-sided emphasis on humanity, played down the language tool; Fifth, too much emphasis on the development of curriculum resources to caused expansion of the proliferation of classroom teaching and so on. The paper analyzes the impact factors of individual teaching reading from the students, teachers and text, putting forward solutions based on problems of individual reading teaching in higher grades of primary school:teachers should change their ideas and improve their own qualities, understanding correctly of the nature of language and reading teaching goal of individualized reading instruction, integrating the goal of instruction based on children's development; manwhile, arranging taching content fexibly acording to material characteristics and individual differences of students,choosing the method of individualized reading instruction based on respect for the students'uique experience,using a wide range of evaluation system to ensure the successful carried out of individualized readingand real ipublicized teachers and students'individuality in the process of teaching.
