| In today's age of information, the capacity of information transformation is extremely important. However, the research relevant to developing students this capacity in teaching process is limited. Therefore, during teaching process in senior high school, developing the capacity of transformation between biological graphics and text information has practical significance and theoretical value.Methods of literature review, interview, quasi-experimental research and mathematical statistics are adopted in our research. This paper also defines the concepts of biological graphics, information, and capacity of information transformation, and preliminary sorting of relevant research at home and abroad is completed, based on related theoretical foundation of instructing the research. This research is conducted in Shanghai Yan'an Senior High School. After interviewing teachers, we grasp current students'capacity of transformation between biological graphics and text information. According to the current situation, we design the teaching schemes and carry out the experimental study. Through comparison of academic achievement and homework between the experimental class and the comparative class, we evaluated the teaching effects from the two aspects:Knowledge and ability.This study comes to the following conclusions:First, current students'capacity of transformation between biological graphics and text information is not optimistic. Second, factors influencing this capacity can be demonstrated in the following aspects: lack of methods of information recognition, insufficient relevant trainings, and students'negative desire. Third, in teaching process of life science, it is feasible to develop this capacity of transformation between biological graphics and text information, since textbook contains rich biological graphics and teaching schemes of developing this transformation capacity are deemed to be effective. Regarding to specific knowledge, during inspection of final exam, the average test score of experimental class is higher than that in comparative class, and the excellent rate of experimental class is also higher than that in comparative class. Regarding to students' ability, except for the ability of transforming mode chart and structural diagram to text information, there is little difference between the experimental class and the comparative. However, there is significant difference in other form of transforming capacity, and the ability of transforming structural diagram and information to other information is significant different between the experimental class and the comparative class. This paper also make a reflection of research. |
