It means a lot for pupils to write in primary schools. Pupils'writing can develop their writing ability, Ideological and moral level and psychological quality. However, there are still many problems in writing teaching in primary schools. It's common that the teachers have spent too much time and energy on it, only to receive too little effects: while the students behave passively in writing which leads to writings of low quality. The new curriculum has been carried out over 9 years, during which numerous research results on writing teaching both at home and aboard come into use. Preachers attempt to apply the results to the practice of teaching writing. But writing teaching hasn't made much progress as expected.The author of the thesis intends to find out the reasons for that. No matter which writing teaching theory the teachers adopt, if it doesn't work as hoped, probably it lies in the fact that the teachers ignore the homework nature of writing teaching. It has become an activity shared by all the teachers without any sense of it, because training is the important method for improving writing ability. Effective writing teaching features obvious training objectives, systematic training designs, flexible training methods and scientific evaluating tragedies. Writing should be taken as homework, and writing training in a period forms a homework system.The thesis holds that in writing training, the teachers should organize writing unit, making all the writing as a whole, and pay enough attention not only to "requested actions" but also to "free action"; the teachers should face all the pupils, aware of individual differences; the teachers should focus on both writing course and writing results. It benefits the training system and effectiveness, combining ability developing with personality developing, thus helping to achieve the goal of writing teaching.
