China is populous country with a vast territory and large population. Chinese farmers account for 80% of the total national population, and farmers'physical fitness is a manifestation of China's overall nation. Compulsory education is the foundation which can improve the national physical fitness. In the rural area, whose population makes up 80% of the nation, rural compulsory education also plays an important role in the education system of the country. PE contributes to strengthening students'physique, promoting the development of the school's quality education and bringing up the awareness of lifelong physical education. Rural school sports, especially the rural primary school physical education, as an important part of rural compulsory education, is the foundation of physical education in China, and plays an important role in forming the awareness of the lifelong sports and developing the habit of exercise for the majority of rural students. In this issue, I use the literature review, expert interview and field survey and combine with the three year of work experience in Badong Country. With the depth investigation in the rural primary schools of the remote mountainous areas in Badong country, I hold the opinion that:1. The number of full-time physical education teachers in rural primary schools of the remote mountainous areas in Badong Country is less than the normal number; although the opening of physical education is good, many factors can lead to the worrying situation in the rural primary school of the remote mountain area in Badong Country. For instance, the reduction of the educational hours, lacking of sports facilities and carrying out the insufficient extracurricular activities can be the problems.2. The physical education in rural primary school is restricted by the exam-oriented education; the lack of physical educational teachers and the overall quality of part-time teachers are needed to be improved; too much emphasis on students about the safety issues of physical activities and the imperfection of sports equipment is the major factor which can influence the development in rural primary school of Badong Country.3. Aiming at PE present situation of rural primary schools in remote mountainous areas in Badong Country and the outstanding issues it represents, it is suggested to clear the physical education ideology and establish a " lifetime sports " concept; strengthening the teaching staff and improving teacher capability; increasing the input and using the resources effectively; the using indoor teaching, improving student interest and using special conditions, enriching the relevant measures of physical education. The purpose of this issue is to provide reference to the education sector in Hubei Province, rural schools and physical education teachers.
