This article will focus on the two parts study content. The specific implementation process of inquiry teaching in high school physics and teachers in the implementation of inquiry-based teaching process the errors may exist, some of the difficulties encountered as well as effective countermeasures. The first part of the study is given the general procedures of the implementation of inquiry teaching and on this basis taking high school physics teaching sub-segments and themes examples to further study the implementation process. The second part of the study is based on the analysis of the questionnaire, the exchange of experience with a number of classroom teachers and summarized the misunderstanding, difficult, and the countermeasures in the implementation process of inquiry teaching. To address these fundamental problems, we are also associated with the theoretical basis to make the necessary analysis. Hope that through this study guidance and assistance can be provided for the effective implementation of inquiry in high school physics teaching and build an open learning environment for students explore the ability of science, improve the scientific literacy of them, to achieve quality education ultimately.This study shows that the implementation of inquiry teaching in physics teaching in secondary is not ideal, there are still many misunderstandings and difficulties. The majority of teachers and educational researchers need to make further efforts to resolve these problems, so that the implementation of inquiry teaching in high school physics teaching will be more effective, and shows their strengths.
