With the development of socio-economic, scientific and technological innovation more and more attention has been paid. Cultivation of innovative talents has become a source for a new round of economic development. A change in the original mode of education, education for innovative personnel training mode without delay. Inquiry teaching change of spoon-feeding way of teaching, the change teachers take the initiative to take the initiative for the students, and students in inquiry learning, stimulate interest and improve the ability to cultivate the spirit of science. Inquiry teaching is a kind of based on modern educational thought of new teaching model with the new education idea. It is people-oriented, emphasizing the students’ active participation in the whole process of learning, the students thinking has always been actively exploring, stimulate inspiration, develop thinking ability, creative potential, it not only attaches importance to the knowledge, cultivate more attention to experience of learning process and emotional attitude. Exploration as many Chinese and foreign educational theoretician and practitioner of long-term research achievements in teaching, inquiry teaching to adapt to the requirements of knowledge economy for creative thinking, cultivate students qualities, to our country through science and education strategy is very importantIn the essay, the writer combines the learning inquiry teaching theory at home and abroad, and the writer aims at making explanation of connotation and basic features of inquiry teaching, providing theoretical support for the practice o f study and laying study foundation. Meanwhile, through the analysis of four typical cases, specific implementation process of inquiry teaching is shown in the physical concept course, the laws of physics course, the physical experiment course and the physical exercise course. This article has mainly used the literature law, questionnaire, experiment, educational statistics principle and so on cut-and try method to conduct the research. In addition, the writer sets an experimental class and a contrast class to compare the effect of inquiry teaching. After a half of years tracking and analysis, implementation strategy of physics inquiry teaching in senior high school is tested, which enables physics inquiry teaching to help change the students’ learning behaviors through teachers’ instruction and students’ active participation, and thus the reform of classroom teaching is promoted. Finally, inquiry teaching proves advanced through the author’s personal education experience, and it can improves students’ learning interest and ability.
