The Montessori Education Method is one of the most famous infancy education in the world, which is developed by the illustrious educationist– Maria Montessori. At the beginning, it is designed for the children who with intellectual obstacle, by constantly adjusting, it also suitable for the normal preschool children and has wide influence in the world since its birth. Though it is not long ago that China introduced the Montessori's Education Method, Chinese people show great zeal for its extension and a number of Montessori Method kindergartens and classes have been set up. Nevertheless, in order to make the best use of the Montessori Education Method and make it more suitable for our children, we must consider the problem of applicability and localization. Facing and solving the problem of the Montessori Education Method's localization, in other words, we have to sublate absorb her education idea and merge the reasonable core into our preschool education, make it suitable for guidance of kindergarten education(2001), so as to promote the healthy development of children and their comprehensive quality.This research is focused on the question of the Montessori Education Method's localization and takes five kindergartens as examples, applies literature, interview and observation to study the localization of the Montessori kindergartens and classes, then analyzes the factors which affect the localization and gives some suggestions for the localization.The research indicates that the way of using the Montessori Education Method is based on the core of the Montessori Education Method. The localization practices are as follows: the localization of the environment creation, operation and creation of the teaching-aids, the role of the teacher, the teaching contents and the teaching methods. Based on the outcome of the investigation, the research indicates that culture, chiefs, teachers and parents are the four factors that affect the localization of the Montessori Education Method.With analysis of the actuality and influence factors of the Montessori Education Method's localization in the kindergartens, the author make suggestions: the cultural differences and whirligig of time should be fully considered and take advantage of the educational resources at home and abroad effectively; envisage the limitations of the Montessori Education Method, transform and apply the educational factors rationally in the Montessori's course; the captain of the kindergarten should provide comfortable conditions for the teachers; enhancing the teachers'team in order to provide the localization; pay attention to the communication between family and kindergarten to gain the agreement from parents.
