It has become the consensus of the majority of coaches and athletes that speed strength, which is an important physical condition, affects the special ability of competitive Taekwondo athletes. Now how to combine the speed strength training with special characteristics of competitive Taekwondo, and with Physical and psychological characteristics of young athletes, is an important part of significantly improving their level in the physical training. At the same time, speed strength training itself is a complicated system and also need a support from the improvement of various physical quality of athletes. The specificity and complexity of competitive Taekwondo include special features-, individual characteristics of athletes and regular strength training in daily training.In this study, we took the speed strength training of national youth Taekwondo team members as the research object, and with the methods of literature and documents, field observation, expert interviews, logical analysis, experimental and mathematical statistics, discussing the characteristics, requirements and formation of the speed strength training in competitive Taekwondo. The main conclusions are as follow:1. In the early stage of training for young athletes, coaches should make a long-term plan to ensure the upgrading of their basic physical and improve the ability to prevent sports injury. At the same time, Individual characteristics should be targeted for athletes training guide.2. Speed strength training under the guidance of the laws of winning mainly aims at the key points to the special technique segment. During the process of kicking, we study how to kick in a standard way, to kick quickly and smartly. And according to them, we design related training methods. 3. Speed strength training under the guidance of technical and tactical is mainly for analysis of the overall situation at the stadium. We study how to make athletes reflect the speed strength under different conditions. Athletes not only need good training skills, but also have more intelligent in the competition. They have to create opportunities, seize the opportunities and show their own characteristics in order to win.4. Improvement in speed strength does not mean that specific speed strength have the same great improvement, which requires a special transformation process of technical training. Speed strength Training of Taekwondo, under the premise of hit efforts, enhances the athlete's movement speed. Considering weight restrictions for athletes, it is necessary to grasp the characteristics of individual in the strength training, and design the training load rationally to improve training targeted goal.
