This essay is according to the principles of sports training to analysis our climbing team's training program, in order to make our arrangements for the training of rock climbing more objective, more focused, and more in line with the law of exercise training, achieve the purpose of improving climbing performance.This research's object is our school climbing training plan. Sampling object are three male athletes and three female athletes who will participate in the 2009 National College Students Rock Climbing Championships on behalf of our school.In research methods, using the literature material law, reviewed documents related to rock climbing training. Using data measurement method, recorded the content of the training of athletes, including physical training pull-up, V-up, one arm pull-down, weighted pull-up, overhang, sliding, rock climbing and difficulty climbing height, speed climbing time. The conclusion is based on the analysis of accurate data.Though comparing the results of eight weeks training, some athletes in all aspects of ability was improved. For example, in the basic quality of the pull-up training, the male athletes Yang Zhijie from the beginning of 32 minutes improve to later 25 minutes. Technical training, the progress of athletes in the climbing area is more obvious, the male athletes Guo Bing, the rate of climbing time from the beginning of 14 seconds 45 up to the final 8 seconds 15. Obviously, the training program has played a positive effect. Meanwhile, from the results we can see, some athletes training good effect, including female athlete Yang Yulan, whose competition result from the best fourth place in the previous year, improved to the second in this competition.By comparing the data and results, I find some athletes did not have significant progress, especially male athletes Liang Yanqiang, his performance in the training and competition was far from satisfactory, this also reflects the lack of training arrangements. First, there was no individual tactical and psychological training, so that the whole training program missed an important part; at the same time there were few means help the athletes to recover. When some athletes fatigue, the recovery were slow, affecting the latter part of the training, these should be corrected in latter training programs.
