| A study of badminton industrial chain using the industrial economic theory, regarding the industry development from macro point of view, has the important significance. The research object of this paper is the badminton industrial chain in China. It applies many different methods, such as literature summary, observation, statistics, combined with quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis to the existed definitions about the industrial chain, the analysis of the formation of the badminton industrial chain in China was proposed, using the SCP Structure and Michael Porter Diamond Model. We can draw several conclusions as below:1. Dynamic chain middle organization objectively formed according to the relationship and space distribution between enterprises which provide badminton related products so as to realize the expansion of value.2. The basis of badminton industrial chain is the Badminton Stadium Construction and the Badminton Goods Industry. The core of badminton industrial chain is the Badminton Fitness and Entertainment Industry and the Badminton Performance Industry, which are the control center of the chain. The Badminton Training Industry and the other badminton's activities belong to the auxiliary of the chain.3. In the short term, the market structure of the Badminton Industry won't change any more. The incumbent firms will actively use the market conduct to improve the allocative efficiency of resources and extend the market share.4. In the long term, the enterprises of Badminton Goods Industry utilize the corresponding market conducts, such us technology innovation, advertisement and organizational adjustments, to increased industrial concentration and hinder the entry of new firms to share the industry profits. In the badminton fitness and entertainment market, the market conducts of the company will change the market concentration and have influence on market performance. In the badminton performance industry, according to the high market concentration, it is necessary for the practices of firms to change the market structure and produce good market performance.5. We should develop Chinese badminton industry by the scale-economy to extend advantage of the Badminton Goods Industry and increase the market possession rate, enhance the added value related to the badminton goods and service to form the well-constructed badminton industrial chain by the association of before and after the Badminton Goods Industry. |
