Innovation and entrepreneurship is the epoch topic of the 21st century, developing enterprise education in universities is very important. Harvard Business School is the first one in the world to establish an entrepreneurship course in higher education lever. Since then, entrepreneurship education of universities has developed rapidly through the whole world; the study of entrepreneurship education theory also has reached some milestones. Research universities center in knowledge's production, transmission and application, they aim at producing high standard achievements in scientific research and training high level elite talent. Research universities play important role in social development, economic construction and cultural prosperity. How to establish suitable entrepreneurship educational mode for research universities is an important issue in higher education field of China.The object of this dissertation is the research universities of China. Through using literature study and case study method, this study has discussed the entrepreneurship educational mode for research universities of China. Through using literature study method, this study has systematically reviewed: entrepreneurship education's background, development, feature and performance of the USA, the UK, Japan, etc.; global entrepreneurship education theory; the entrepreneurship educational mode for research universities of America, including focus mode, magnet mode and radiate mode; three entrepreneurship educational mode for research universities of China. This study has selected Zhejiang University as a typical case of research universities. Through investigating and analysis, this study summarize the entrepreneurship educational mode of Zhejiang University as follows: taking classroom instruction as the core level; academic research, practical activity, mass organizations and facilitating agency as support level; enterprise, government, venture capital and business incubator as introduced resources level. Based on above-mentioned work and the feature of research universities of China, this study suggest that research universities of China should take the magnet mode and establish a entrepreneurship educational ecosystem that include core level, support level and introduced resources level.
