| This choice of large-scale theme activities as the research point is based on the growing significance of high school students. With growing awareness and demands, large-scale themed activities for its comprehensive and richness, will develop the comprehensive qualities of high school students. In the current practice, there are still a lot of problems of school activities, such as lack of awareness of the importance, designed scattered, lack of features, lack of reflection. Shanghai YC high school play the spirit of "first in the world ", and gradually formed unique school activities.This article is divided into six parts. The first part discusses the origin, and combed the literature, including research of activities and educational value.Then interpreted the choice of YC high school as a case study, as well as my research ideas. The second part discusses the existing types and characteristics of the large-scale activities, then presentes the content of YC high school.The third part analyzes the educational value orientations of activities, including the main contents, characteristics and influence factors of teachers and students in YC high school. The fourth part analyzes the planning, including the planners, content, methods and results. By questionnaire results of students'interest, the core values achieving, participatory approach and quality assessment, The author analyzes the process of activities. The fifth part is about the evaluation of educational value. This part analyzes the content and characters of evaluation.The sixth part is a thinking part. The author believes that educational value orientations throughout the process of activities. we should persist diversity, clarity and effectiveness as principles of value orientations. Through design series activities and realize the value of the students, as well as persist diversity, Incentive, quantitative and qualitative to improve quality of evaluation. So as to enhance the quality of the large-scale theme activities.
