On The Problem Ofvolunteer's Managementin Large-scale Activities

In recent years, volunteer activities have been drawing more and more attentions, receiving the recognition of government, society and scholar. The "third party" voluntary service development has become an inevitable necessity during the process of democratization and modernization. Therefore, how to achieve the good interaction between government management and the development of voluntary service have become important subjects in volunteers research. This paper takes the maintenance of Hangzhou voluntary service building as an example, and mainly uses documentation, interview and questionnaire as research methods. It tries to talk about the volunteer's management in large-scale activities of Hangzhou from the angle of public management as well as the changes of government management functions. The author comes up with an objective description and analysis of the existing problems of volunteer's management in large-scale activities in Hangzhou. The ideas and countermeasures to solve the problems have also been proposed. All the analysis are based on facts discovered in Hangzhou, but can also be applied to the volunteer's management in other cities.
