The Ways Of Professional Development Of Middle School Physical Education Teacher

The study of P.E. teachers' professional development ways not only provide references for P.E. teachers' sustainable development, but also help to improve the quality of P.E., and promote the smooth development of school sports.This study based on the literature method, the questionnaire,case study and other research methods, investigated and analyzed the prefessional development ways and related conditions of the middle school P.E. teachers in Wuhan. The research indicates that:Combination of multiple paths,such as outside training, school-based teaching and researching,mentoring pairs and self-improvement are the effective professional development way of middle school P.E. teachers; the love of career, specialty and students is the source power for P.E. teachers' professional development, self-consciousness is the feature of their professional development, pursuit of excellence is the point of their professional development. There are still some problems when middle school P.E. teachers carry out their professional development ways:the system of the outside training is not perfect, the leaders do not support the teachers'professional development, lack of professional guidance and assistance, mentoring pairs are not implemented into practice, part of the teachers lack of professional development autonomy consciousness.And then the paper provide five suggestions to the prefessional development ways of middle school P.E. teachers,they are:set up a sound system for the outside training of the P.E. teachers, provid good professional development space for P.E. teachers, create a teaching and researching community of variety forces, enhance the effect of mentoring pairs, improve the self-awareness of teachers'professional development, develop the habit of lifelong learning.
