Research On Dongguan Economic And Social Transformation And Quality Development Of Higher Vocational College Students

The research and study in this thesis are based on the interactive relationship between Dongguan economic and social transformation and quality development of higher vocational college students. Dongguan municipal government implements scientific development concept, promoting the economic and social transformation and building a manufacturing city. The city is transferring from labor intensive industry to capital and technology intensive manufacturing and its demand for young people with high skills is rising rapidly. With the transformation, its requirement for young professional people's qualities has changed a lot. Focusing on four aspects, Dongguan's economic development for youth's qualities demand; Dongguan's vocational youth's qualities of the status quo; Dongguan's higher vocational college students'quality development of the status quo; Dongguan's higher vocational education students'quality development education, and based on vocational qualities and social qualities, the writer did surveys and interviews, thinking and analyzing according to the results, as well. From the research, the article points out that during the transformation period, Dongguan higher vocational education should aim at developing students' vocational and social qualities, training high-quality skilled talents. To fulfill the historical mission of talents training and promoting economic development in Dongguan, Dongguan's higher vocational colleges should become a bridge between the enterprises and students, as well as a bond between the social demand and personal quality development.
