Higher vocational education is different from secondary vocational education and general higher education as well in that it has the character of higher vocation. Therefore, there lies in its own particularity of professional qualities of teachers. It is indispensable to study the problems, reveal its law and put forward some advisable suggestions of professional qualities of "dual teachers" in higher vocational education in order to promote the professional qualities of higher vocational teachers.The article analyses its current situations of higher vocational teachers to narrate the present achievements and problems of the construction of teachers in higher vocational education and sums up the reasons of present poor professional qualities of teachers. Then the article clarifies the meanings and components of "dual teachers" and its professional qualities, mainly narrates the reasons of particularity of professional qualities of teachers. The author holds it lies in its higher, vocational and technical characteristics. The article concludes its particularity that lies in the constitutes of teachers' qualities. Finally the article puts forward the meanings, objectives, principles, contents, models and ways of fostering the professional qualities of "dual teachers" of higher vocational education.
