In the early of 21st century, the curriculum reform of basic education in high school is an important part of the comprehensive reform and is also a revolution of the education mode. Teaching reform is the most important. With more and more demands for the curriculum reform, it is meaningful to study the changes and effects on teaching materials around the reform.According to the idea of comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development, students ask for comprehensive development,the reform of ideological and political teaching needs new teaching materials to promote students comprehensibly with the background of knowledge and economic globalization. We study the subject through the method of case analysis, document analysis, comparative analysis and so on. Through comparing 96 version and 04 version of teaching materials compiled by PEP, the guiding ideology of the new ideological and political teaching materials for high school can better reflect the development and progress of the society than the old on target,evaluation and other aspects. The idea of New textbooks change from "Textbook is the first" to "Student is the first" in the structure;the content adopt to the times; the teaching part are more diverse, layout and graphic novel style are more attractive. The changes of the new teaching materials take more demands to teachers in high school. The requirements for the professional development of teachers become more and more urgent. To promote the professional development needs to change the traditional view about students and learn to care and respect students. the relationship between the materials and teaching needs to be put right, the relationship between teachers and students is very important at the same time. In order to match the new materials,the ways of learning should turn to be the new way of self-learning,collaboration and exploration. To use the new teaching materials scientifically needs to change the role of teachers. The ultimate goal is to achieve the goal of teaching reform to complete the task of curriculum reform.The development of teaching materials are closely related to the social development. The content of new textbooks keep pace with the social development, the system matchs the idea of the new curriculum. we can learn more about the coming curriculum reform by the comparative study of the materials. It can help to achieve the goal of the curriculum reform of high school successfully,and also provide guarantees for the overall development of knowledge and Emotional Quotient of students. To Study materials will help teachers to understand the idea of the new curriculum and implement the new curriculum successfully. To study materials can give the teachers inspirations. teachers adjust their teaching according to the change of textbooks to make teaching materials, teachers and teaching fuse together.
