Nearly a hundred years have elapsed since the New Culture Movement, this vigorous ideological revolutionary movement promoted the development of China's modernization, while it also left a deep imprint on language education. At present, with the rapid economical development and the flowing of multiculturalism, we face a serious problem Chinese has a fracture in classical literature. It was easy to find out the double-edged sword if we dated back to the history, however, New Culture Movement brought powerful spirit motives with every aspect of education, which also planted a very bad seed to led our literature and traditional language education to destroy, and it becomes worse now. In these cases, we must extremely profound comprehending afresh the Chinese language education and finding a way out in the tough situation.This thesis following the Chinese educational development, which was based on New Culture Movement, the author analyzed academic system, Test-books and teaching methods of modern language education, some findings of relative study are reviewed, the author in this essay combed out the disadvantage of vernacular movement, it became more radical in comment of the classical as a remnant of the feudal time. So that was the point, based on the New Culture Movement, Chinese language education would go too far.In view of this, the thesis penetrated into positive and passivism to analyze the influence of New Culture Movement to the modern Chinese education, on the one hand, it fully endorsed the movement played a key part in the transition of language, on the other hand, it gave us a clear understanding that the loss on the traditional culture and education, and called for restoring the traditional spirit. Finally, the view of the thesis focused on study classical in the middle school teaching for inheriting and respecting tradition. The thesis intended to propose some measures and methods through classical teaching, so as to orienting China's tradition, carry forward China's civilization, helping students to develop their lofty sentiment and nobleness personality.
