On the day of May 9th in 2007, General Office of the State Council released a document and decided that, from the autumn of 2007 on, the six teaching universities belonged to the Ministry of Education in China will try on the policy of free education. Viewed in the context of the whole progress of China's normal education, the policy of free education for the normal students'has a long history, The normal education has stipulated the treatment and duty for the free teacher students when it was to be found, and remained until the last century in the mid-1990s. Until the 1997th, with the establishment of market economy system and the rapid develepment of economy, the increased enrollment in institutions of higer learning, the increasing of the education costs year by year and the raising of the tuition fees, the history of the free high education has been broken and normal schools have become to implemnet the policy with the gradually charge and the full fee. But with the new policy of the free teacher student carrying out, the free education which brings great significance to the educational circles returns to campus. The policy has not only inherited ours'traditions, but also is a performance that the Party and government attaches great importance and supportance to education, explores the balanced development, improves the quality of education, solves the problem of the outstanding and poverty student hard to college entrance, attracts more ambitious youths to step into the educational work, enlarges the ranks of the educators, and forms a strong education-valued atmosphere.The free normal education is timely and necessary, and it is a measure in allusion to the questions of the current high normal education, which meets to the development of our society and education. But the policy is rather experimental, and it still needs efforts and practice from the Community and education practitioners for how to solve some practical problems before the policy is mature, how to make the society, schools, families and students understand and receive the policy, as well as how to further refine and perfect the policy with the times' progress.This article is based on our first free normal students and includes three parts. The first part mainly researches the students'ideology based on mainly questionnaires, in addition to interviews and document retrieval;The second part mainly gives out an explanation to the current students'ideology;The third part is combining some strategies in implementation and find out the way to solve the questions of the students'ideology on the angle of the ideological and political education.
