Mini-football is a type of soccer game different from football eleven-a-side, which is worth of popularizing in university's campus, because it's not restricted by the space and the number of players, the equipment requirements is simple, and the rules can be relatively simplified. As the cradle of football of Hebei Province, Baoding has a rich football culture and has many colleges in Baoding. To research the current situation of Mini-football in universities of Baoding, and providing more reasonable suggestions for the development of Mini-football in universities of Baoding will benefit healthy development of university campus-football.This paper takes the Mini-football development of 9 universities'campus of Baoding city as object of study, and takes the literature data, survey, statistics, and logical analysis as research methods to make investigation and analysis to the development situation of Mini-football in universities'campus, and reaches the following conclusion:1. The university students of Baoding show a high degree of passion for football, so it has a mass basis of students to carry out Mini-football.2. The university students of Baoding show a low level of understanding of Mini-football, and the type of Mini-football they are familiar with is Futsal.3. The university students of Baoding show a positive attitude about carrying out Mini-football in university campus, and consider it is necessary to carry out this sport.4. Most of the surveyed colleges and universities have football elective lesion teachers, and their young teachers in higher education-based, have some experience in teaching and research, but have relatively poor ability of football.5. Each of the universities surveyed have standard football field more or less, and some universities with good conditions have 2 to 4 football fields, and most of the fields are artificial grass fields, which is ideal for campus football in North China. And few football fields are soil which is not suitable for the campus football to carry out, need to further improve.6. The Mini-football is not launched very extensively, and the proportion of the crowd who is personally involved in Mini-football is relatively small. The motivation of who participate in Mini-football is mainly for fitness or to adjust the mental state. The most popular type of Mini-football is Futsal. Most of the students often use the time of extra-curricular activities or weekends to play Mini-football 1 or 2 times per week, 30 to 60 minutes each time.7. Most of the students can play Mini-football in football field, but due to space constraints or other reasons there are some students choose the open space, athletic track, basketball courts and other free places as football field to play Mini-football. And it is lack of teacher guidance for them when they play Mini-football. Most students have not taken part in any kind of formal football match.8. Almost all colleges and universities surveyed established football elective courses, and 44.49% students in the survey were willing to select football elective courses. And the reasons why those students did not want to select football course are: they won't interested in football, felt vulnerable and felt tired in football lesson.9. Five of nine universities surveyed have fixed-organized campus football matches on campus. Most of the matches are 11-a-side football matches, and few of the matches are Min-football matches.
