Heuristic teaching is the process which the educatee induced by the educators is active in acquiring knowledge, developing intelligence, edifying personality, and forming integral personality. The biggest difference between the teaching method and the traditional skill teaching:firstly, modern heuristic teaching aims to constructing and shaping the students' subjective, develop the student's integral personality which contains cognitive, affection, will, and the truth, the kindness and the beauty to make students "love learning", "learned" and "good at learning". Secondly, the basic rule of modem heuristic teaching process embodies the unification of cognition and incognitive; teacher's dominant and the student main body interaction, the teaching and learning interaction; Teaching certainty and uncertainty. Thirdly, modem heuristic teaching reflects curriculum perspective of the unification of scientific discipline and students' psychological logic. Fourthly, modem heuristic teaching process model presents many ways. Activity way reflects characteristics of the unification of cognition and incognitive, teacher's dominant and student active interaction. Fifthly, in the teaching environment, it emphasizes teaching democracy and establishes harmonious blend of atmosphere between the teachers and students mutual respect and trust each other. Especially, teachers should respect, understand and love students, which promotes teaching democracy. Teachers can communicate with students from the thought to emotion. Sixthly, with the development of modern education technology, the inspired method is also full of variety. This paper used the literature material method, expert interview, questionnaire, teaching experimental method, and statistics and other methods, the rationale, teaching objectives, teaching significance, teaching program and teaching evaluation of heuristic teaching for a more in-depth analysis, theoretically illuminates the feasibility of application and significance of the heuristic teaching in basketball teaching in normal universities. Obtained the amount of data through the teaching experiment in control group and experiment group, these data was carried on statistical analysis processing, confirmed the heuristic teaching method can help to improve students to master the basic basketball technology level and utilization of effectiveness of the basic skills. It can not only improve students on mastering the skill teaching effect of open movement,but also play an important role in the cultivation of students' tactical awareness. It is more advantageous to increase students' enthusiasm and initiative, makes students in mental and emotional gain experiences of studying success and sports fun, causes students' self-confidence to sports skill learning unceasingly strengthens, and each student sports skills and health of body and mind can develop fully Through the experimental study of 'the heuristic didactics' in basketball teaching of promotion in normal universities in this topic, it provides, in theory, new field and direction in the inquiry for sports skills teaching and sports teaching theory, and, in practice, constructive operational guidance for the high college teachers to complete teaching activities.
