On Current Situation And Strategies About The Public PE Course Of Key Universities In Henan

Our socialist economic, political and cultural construction have scored tremendous achievements since reform and opening up more than thirty years ago.With the spring breeze of reform and opening up and the development of times, modern technology continued to permeate every aspect of human life, people's living standards increased.However, our national constitution was in a continuous decline.The reasons for this is that we don't pay attention to our sports and fitness and we has not formed a habit of physical exercise. Our education, especially the physical education of higher education,should reconsider their work.Higher education is one of the important stage of molding a philosophy of life and world.During this period,people's physical and mental matured gradually.To some extent, the known formed in this period can affect human life.Therefore, the higher stages of physical education is significant for a man to set up a view of lifelong sport.. The"National Ordinary College Sports Teaching Instruction Summary"issued by the ministry of education had been implemented in national universities since 2003. All the key universities in Henan carried on the Summary.But in the implementation of various aspects, there are some drawbacks.Employing the methods of literature review,questionnaire and mathematical statisitics,this paper,on the basis of the survey conducted in the 8 key universities in Henan,makes an analysis of the current situation of public physical education.The results showed that:(1) The structure of the teacher's age is reasonable, but there are few teacheres who have higher education and professional title.And the research capability is weak.(2) These universities has achieved certain progress in the implementation of the Smmary.Most of the teachers understand the guideline.But some teachers don't implement it effectively and ignore the variability.(3) Henan is known as the home of Kungfu.But the students don''t like it. Sport theory class is lack,and the content is monotonous,mainly about technique and tactics.(4) The software and hardware of sports is delayed,especially the number and degree of openness of indoor stadium is lack,the project could not and cannot.The using of teaching material shows a feature of multiformity.There are different levels,forms,and natures of textbook.(5) The evaluation system is still based on skills and qualities,ignoring the individual differences,lacking of process evaluation,going against the guideline of the Summary.
