In the western rural areas, traditional culture and modern culture indicates the dialectical law as one falling and other rising. Education will be modernized from the tradition by all means while accompanying the social transformation. With the development and change in the economy of education, the particular education norm always has special effect in the history. In the daily life of people in rural society at present, educators and educatees had different ideas of the object of education norm. In the whole rural community, they have generally retained Chinese cultural norms, customs, linguistic characteristics and traditional values. In the village school , these rules and regulations have promoted the development of school education along scientific, regularized and legal lines. Education norms are more in line with the requirements of modern education and more keeping pace with the times. In rural community, including village school is a common peace of the"nature principle"and"law", but traditional education norm and modern education norm play the different roles in this area. Around the village school, the story which happened in it in their daily lives told us that the serious split in the consciousness of education norm had made the norm itself face with crises of value paradox.By analyzing and comparing the characteristics of traditional education norm and modern education norm, now we had got some idea of the reason which caused the crises of value paradox. First of all, if we take the stand of the education, any education norm should provide service for education. So the education norm should benefit the progress of science and the development of students. Second, underneath education lies education norm, but it is an unwritten constitution. Traditional education norm we have is fragmentary, sketchy, unwritten and vulgarizing. But the end of the construction of the norm is not to instruct people how to make a choice following the rules, but to build a person of virtue and character. Modern education norm share at least three significant characteristics: it is more technical, predictable and calculative. Some people always keep a respectable distance from it; some people use it as means to their own ends, and never consider them as ends in themselves; some people choose confrontation as a course of action and put education norm underfoot. Finally, education norm is necessary for education. It should not be only a kind of clumsy imitation of law, but should be the necessary for happiness and warmth in life. As a result, the drawbacks of modern education norm can not be mended by the way to generate more and more norms. The constructing of education norm must gradually undergo a historical change from"on education"to"for education".To conclude, despite many modern education norms become"golden rule", chasing"legitimacy"and often neglecting the realness in life and morality. Modern education norm does not has the feature of legality naturally, even if it has relation between a kind of isomorphism and modern laws. Education norm which Pointing to one's own and focusing on happiness, I think those are real"legitimacy". At present, in the daily life of people in rural society, educators and educatees had different ideas of the object of education norm. On one hand, it deepened the crisis of education norms, on the other hand, it would be an opportunity for constructing new education norm. The education norms from rural schools'everyday life should be a common place of"natural principles"and"law".
