| How could the small and medium private enterprises grow in the way of independent innovation in China? Practice has been put into it before the theory is born when different opinions still exist in academia. Moreover, the way has been explored successfully by establishing a docking platform of scientific and technological achievements between the enterprises and colleges in Wenzhou. These platforms were studied seriously and the experience of success and failure was summarized. Obviously, it is an advisable choice for these enterprises to carry out the technological innovation with the help of colleges. It is pointed out that the docking platform of scientific and technological achievements in which the colleges play the principal role has the superiority in several present forms of scientific and technological achievements docking between the enterprises and colleges. Therefore it is necessary to study the communication mechanism seriously for utilizing the platform completely. Wenzhou platform experience pointed out that there are coordination mechanism, supervising mechanism, transmitting mechanism, publicizing mechanism, guaranteeing mechanism in the perfect communication mechanism. And their functions should be used in the whole process of docking between the enterprises and colleges. Hope that the study may apply some revelations for small and medium private enterprises carrying out the independent innovation.
