University students are the backbone of the country and also precious human resources. Whether it can success in ideological and political education of College students, relates to growth of the talent, the progress of the society and the power of country. How to give fully play to its educational function, it is still in constant exploration, including to learn the knowledge of psychology. At present, the positive psychology is becoming the new research area in psychological science, which mainly on the research of virtue and positive energy. To ideological and political of college students, positive psychology has important reference values. This article will study the contents of ideological and political education from positive psychology Angle.This paper is made up of four parts. Part 1: It introduces the reason why the author chooses this topic, research status and research methods and so on. Part 2: It Main introduces the background of positive psychology and the main contents. In addition, it expounds the necessity, feasibility and positive significance, when both are in combination. Part 3: It points out the problems which exist in ideological and political education from the perspective of positive psychology. The problems include the negativities such as education concept, content, environment and educators. Part 4: It is most the important content In this paper. According to the negative in the college students' ideological and political education, the positive psychology gives knowledge and enlightenment to college students' ideological and political education. It embodies in four aspects. Firstly, we should establish positive education concept. Secondly, we can impart active contents to students, including positive cognition, the positive emotion experience, positive willpower, positive personality traits, etc. thirdly, we should construct positive environment of ideological and political education, including positive social environment, positive school environment, positive family environment. Fourthly, we should enhance the enthusiasm of the educator himself, to promote positive qualities of educators, mainly from educator level, school level, society level.
