The traditional journalism talents training mode has been unable to adapt to the requirement of modern media industry. In China mainland university, the innovation of cultivating journalism talents become an important issue in press of news education research.This paper within the example of School of Journalism and Information Communication in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, around training target of"Practice-oriented, Arts and Science Integrated", analysis several factors , which influence the effect of journalism talents training.This paper is based on the Chinese university press featured talents training mode innovation for research. Using the methods of example analysis, comparative analysis, data research etc. Draws the universal conclusions in the end: media industry needs the composite media talents who has noble moral qualities and firm major ideals, learning particularly to understand news, in a certain area have prominent specialty, and familiar with basic business skills, and also skillful at new media business skills. News and journalism college of Universities in China, featured training talents with major skill and aimed for the employment, these practical training goal cannot satisfy to the needs of the community. In journalism students' employment, overall employment declines, there has a highlighted phenomenon that the dislocation in employment domain of the news and journalism, students who has the specialty are welcome. Facing the severe forms of employment, the course system of college journalism began a shake-up, course setting knowledge of general education increases, it empresses the"broad caliber thick foundation"? featured personnel training mode. According to the characteristics of different major, it increases specialty elective courses, especially in the journalism major, elective courses module is encouraged, which launched a rich course setting content of journalism. Major direction of subject course is divided more scientific and clearly, prominenting characteristics of strong practicality in journalism.
