In view of the development of middle school teaching after new curriculum reform, the essay explores and discusses the problems and strategies of political teaching after new curriculum reform in northern Shaanxi middle school. Based on referring the new requirements of new curriculum reform of national basic education, the essay investigates and analyses the situation of political teaching after new curriculum reform in northern Shaanxi middle school. It admits the positive achievements, and on the other hand, it also points out the shortcomings, mainly including: teachers have a negative attitude on the new curriculum, and they can't grasp the curriculum standards accurately; teachers'teaching concept is old and traditional, and their teaching methods are obsolete, apart from these, they still pursue traditional teaching approaches; teachers'knowledge is inadequate; there is little cooperation and communication among teachers, whose self-reflection is not deep, moreover, their learning and self-raise awareness is weak; schools have poor facilities; the situation of teachers'continuing education is poor; exam-oriented education in school is still prevalent; schools haven't paid enough attention to the political curriculum; schools pursue single evaluation of teachers and students; schools'education effect is not optimistic. Then, on the basis of analyzing the causes, the essay proposes the following measures: establish a new scientific philosophy of teachers'education; teachers'education model should be integration, that is, teachers'education must strengthen the links with the primary and secondary schools; deepen the reform of personnel system, and innovative teachers'management system; complete the students'evaluation system.
