In order to face to the challenge of knowledge economy, we must carry on in every system and field the strategy of sustainable development. It has become an important subject of 21-century education to establish an educational system of sustainable development and to culture students with ability of sustainable development.From the strategy of sustainable development, and on the basis of our teaching practices in (Dcreating the study system of sustainable development, (2) exerting the effects" of inner and dynamic study system, (3) establishing knowledge and educational view of sustainable development, and ヾeveloping the education of science- technology-society, This paper puts forward a new concept the educational system of sustainable development with three principles of fairness, sustainability and common This new system gives attention to basic and systematic knowledge as well as methodology, application and development. And it focused not only on knowledge learning but also on the students to question and create. This system regards chemistry as a tool to understand nature and society. And it will enable the students to learn how to live with and care for each other. It is in agreement with the fundamental spirit of quality-oriented education and innovation education, and shows a direction of educational reforms in high school undoubtedly.
