Abstract Mathematics applying is such an impoitant part hi mathematics education that calling for mathematics applying consciousness and improving the teaching quality of mathematics applying have become the common recognition among the vast numbers of mathematics educators. Canying out the research into secondary school mathematics modelling teaching and applying is of great significance it can improve the students? mathematics applying consciousness, develop students?thinldng capacity and ability to analyse and solve problems, promote the reform in secondary school mathematics teaching and give impetus to the secondary school mathematics quality-oriented education in an all-round way. Based on the reseaich into mathematics model and mathematics modelling, this paper summarizes the designing principle~ teaching made teaching method and teaching content in the first three chapters; in chapter 4,it sums up the mathematics modeling teaching in secondary school and applied question teaching in senior middle school; in chapter 54t discusses the significance of canying out mathematics modeling teaching in secondary school; in chapter 6, it points out that the psychological mechanism and teaching ways in solving mathematics problems offer a good deal of enlightenment to cany out secondary school mathematics modelling teaching; in chapter 7, it points out that the main characteristics of mathematics constnictivism study play an important and instinctive part in secondary school mathematics modelling teaching; holding that secondary school mathematics modelling teaching is the probing process of students? active study and should be student-centred; in chapter 8, it expounds the cognition and practice hi the implementation of secondary school mathematics quality- oriented education and points out that secondary school mathematics modelling teaching is an important part in research studying , holding that it抯 necessary to improve the teaching process of secondary school mathematics modelling teaching, to emphasize the mathematics applying and to pay attention to the development of students?non- intellectual factor and the moral educational fimction; in chapter 9,it discusses the mutual combination and infiltration between secondary school mathematics modelling teaching and CAT (Computer Assisted Instruction).
